Additional Information On The Acquisition Of MTQ Engineering Sdn Bhd

The Board of Directors of MTQ Corporation Limited ("MTQ") is pleased to provide the following information in relation to MTQ's announcement on the acquisition of MTQ Engineering Sdn Bhd released on 22 July 2003:
Requirement under Rule 1010(3) and (5) read with Rule 704(15)(d)
MTQ has on 21 July 2003 completed its purchase of MTQ Engineering Sdn Bhd ("MTQ Engineering") comprising 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each at par and for cash (total consideration RM2.00). MTQ Engineering has been dormant since the date of its incorporation on 7 January 2002.
