Acquisition Of Subsidiary Company
The Board of Directors of MTQ Corporation Limited (the "Company" or "MTQ") wishes to announce that the Company has acquired one ordinary share in the issued share capital of Blossomvale Investments Pte. Ltd. ("BIPL") for a consideration of S$1.00. The principal activity of BIPL is that of investment holding. Consequent upon the acquisition of BIPL, BIPL is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
The acquisition of BIPL is not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated earnings per share or consolidated net tangible assets per share of the Company for the financial year ending 31 March 2008.
None of the Directors and controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the acquisition of BIPL.
