Blow
Out Preventer's repair to OEM specs involves :-
- Complete
dismantling, gritblasting and full 100% dimension inspection including
Magnetic Particle Inspection
- Complete
pre-machining under size, complete pre-heating, welding and full
furnace stress relieve to 6500C
- Final
machining to OEM specs, 100% inspection by OEM engineers prior
to final assembling
- Reassembling
to be followed by functional and hydrostatic test, including simulated
well bore pressure to 22,500 PSI

Thermal Spraying
Initially developed for aerospace and defense industries, MTQ Engineering Pte Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of MTQ Corporation Ltd) is successfully harnessing the newest technologies in thermal spraying to improve components performance in marine, oilfield, manufacturing, textile and paper industries.
In thermal spraying, material is melted in a thermal source and propelled onto a workpiece to form coatings that improve work-piece performance such as wear, corrosion and erosion resistance.
